Red Street Community Centre has long been an invaluable part of the local community, serving as a hub for the people of Redstreet and its surrounding area. The centre has also recently undergone a huge transformation in March 2014 with the centre being open for visitors and booking in August of the same year. The complete refurbishment of the building, main hall and toilet areas through the use of grants and charitable funding has given the centre a new bright and modern feel.
We recently gained Registered Charity status in March 2015 (charity Number RSCC is a CIO no 1161012), showing not only the committee and management teams, but also every one of our users commitment to the local and surrounding communities.
We are also a base for charities in the area such as Approach (Dementia Group), National Children’s Trust and Sphere Protection who hold meetings and events at the centre for local residents in and around Redstreet. These events are hugely popular and make a real impact on the community.
